In aviation, a part is only as good as its paperwork. PAPCO Aviation gives you full transparency across the supply chain, from the origin of the part to its delivery at your door.
What traceability means for you
- Documented origin. We request and verify the available traceability records for every part before it is offered.
- Release documents. Certificates and release documents, such as an EASA Form 1 or an FAA Form 8130-3, are supplied only when expressly included in the quotation.
- Identification. Part numbers, serial numbers, labels and tags are checked against the documents on receipt and again before dispatch.
- Complete records. Documents are kept for the period required by the applicable regulations and our quality procedures: [RECORD RETENTION PERIOD].
Preventing counterfeit and unapproved parts
We apply controls designed to keep suspected unapproved parts out of the supply chain: supplier evaluation, verification of documents against the physical part, and escalation of any inconsistency. A part that raises doubt is quarantined and is not offered or shipped.
On receipt
Every incoming part is inspected for identity, condition, packaging and documentation. Discrepancies are recorded and resolved with the supplier before the part moves any further.
