Your aircraft are only as safe as the supply chain behind them. PAPCO Aviation carries out audits of the companies you buy from or are about to work with, and gives you a clear, documented picture of the risks.
What we audit
- Quality management system. Procedures, responsibilities, internal audits and corrective actions, against recognised aerospace requirements such as AS9100 and EN 9100.
- Traceability and documentation. Origin records, certificates, release documents and record keeping.
- Counterfeit and unapproved part prevention. Supplier evaluation, receiving inspection and handling of suspect parts.
- Storage, handling and packaging. Conditions that protect the integrity of the parts.
- Delivery and service performance. Conformity, on-time delivery and responsiveness.
Who it is for
Operators, maintenance organisations and distributors that want to qualify a new supplier, re-evaluate an existing one, or prepare for a customer or authority audit.
How it works
- Scope. We agree the supplier, the standards and the depth of the audit with you.
- Preparation. Documents are requested and reviewed in advance.
- Audit. On site at the supplier, or remotely when appropriate, including sampling of records and parts.
- Report. A written report lists findings, their severity and the evidence behind each one.
- Follow-up. We review the supplier’s corrective action plan and check that it is closed.
Please note
Our audits are independent assessments carried out at your request. They are not certification or accreditation audits, and they do not replace the approvals required by the authorities.
